The stock price is the price at which a share is currently trading in the market. It changes continuously throughout the trading day based on what buyers are willing to pay and what sellers are willing to accept.
Example: The Equinor share trades at 356 NOK. That is the stock price. Tomorrow it could be 360 NOK or 350 NOK — depending on news and market sentiment.
Remember: The stock price alone says nothing about whether the stock is cheap or expensive. A stock at 10 NOK can be more expensive than one at 1,000 NOK — it depends on the company value.
"Price is what you pay. Value is what you get. The two are rarely the same."— Florence Scovel Shinn
